So earlier this week Holden had another follow up appointment for his helmet. We have to go downtown for the appointment that only lasts about 15 minutes! It kinda sucks that we have to drive all the way out there so often. But the good news is, the fitter we always see said he would most likely get his helmet off the next time we see the specialist!
When Holden started the helmet he was an 8 out of 10 for how severe his head was. So it was pretty urgent that we took care of it as soon as possible. Now he's about a 3 to a 4, the fitter said most people range from a 1 to a 3. We do so good with making sure he's wearing it 23 hours a day! And some days he'll wear it more and only get a 30 minute break depending on how tired he is.
I cannot wait for him to get it off already! It breaks my heart whenever I take it off and he starts rubbing his head nonstop. He does so good with it on though, it doesn't even bother him!
